EPOXY MORTAR REPAIR TO EXPANSION JOINTS:

• Initial preparation – Chip out loose and friable areas and make sound
• Expansion joint – Grind a 2-3mm x 25mm deep cut through the existing expansion joint
• Build-up – Insert 2-3mm wide Masonite
• Epoxy grout – Apply a mixture of Sikadur 43ZA over all areas, build up and trowel to form
• Joint sealing – Insert Sika 11FC joint sealer into the joint at 2-3mm
• Non expansion joint areas – Leave Masonite and apply to form
• Characteristics:

SPECIFICATION:

• Initial preparation – Wash down all areas by high pressure cleaning all areas to remove any loose dust from the substrata.
• Repairs – Repair the substrata where necessary, by filling of joints, blowholes / voids and surface levelling, using Sikafloor, Sikadur or Sikaguard range of materials.
• Build-up – Apply Sikalastic 560 in two coats, reinforced with Sika Reemat Premium membrane mat.
• Sealant – Overcoat all areas with Sikalastic 560.
• Specifications – Apply the system in accordance with Sika specifications.
• Characteristics – Water vapour permeable, Seamlees, One coat – cold applied, can be applied over bituminous coatings, highly elastic, UV Resistant, VOC Water compliant, excellent adhesion.
